It borders four other countries.&nbsp;Both the countries of <a href=\"https:\/\/gisgeography.com\/georgia-europe-map\/\">Georgia<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/gisgeography.com\/russia-map\/\">Russia<\/a> are to the north. Whereas <a href=\"https:\/\/gisgeography.com\/iran-map\/\">Iran<\/a> is situated to the south. Finally, <a href=\"https:\/\/gisgeography.com\/armenia-map\/\">Armenia<\/a> is to the west, which forms a very complex country boundary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-17-16-15-font-size\">The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is an exclave of Azerbaijan that borders Armenia to the southwest.
