It borders 3 other European countries. First, <a href=\"https:\/\/gisgeography.com\/croatia-map\/\">Croatia<\/a> wraps around from the west to the north. Then, <a href=\"https:\/\/gisgeography.com\/serbia-map\/\">Serbia<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/gisgeography.com\/montenegro-map\/\">Montenegro<\/a> border the east side of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-17-16-15-font-size\">Bosnia and Herzegovina is not entirely landlocked because the western tip reaches the Adriatic Sea with about 20 kilometers of coastline at the town of Neum. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-17-16-15-font-size\">Also, it&#8217;s a relatively newer country and was founded in 1992 (formerly Bosnia). Sarajevo is the capital and largest city in the country.
