Although it has seven main islands, there are 181 islands in total, which are mostly uninhabited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-17-16-15-font-size\">Overall, the population is over 65,000 people making it one of the most populous British territories. <em>Hamilton<\/em> is Bermuda&#8217;s capital and largest city. The island is known for its pink sandy beaches, coral reefs, and the historic town of St. George.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-17-16-15-font-size\">There is also a mythical history behind the Bermuda Triangle, which stems from several ships and aircraft that have disappeared under unknown circumstances.
