Adirondacks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Adirondacks is a scenic area in upstate <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/gisgeography.com\/new-york-map\/\">New York<\/a> that encompasses 5,000 square miles (13,000 sq km) of land. The mountains and hills that surround it provide a view of Lake George, which sits in the east of the range. Adirondack Park has wildlife that includes, moose, black bears, coyotes, and river otters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Adirondacks are also home to several lakes. Lake Champlain and Great Sacandaga Lake give you a chance to camp, swim, and fish. Plus, this hiking trail takes you on a journey through some of the most beautiful scenery in America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Adirondack Mountains rise sharply from the lakeshore. Peaks reach elevations exceeding 5,000 feet (1,500 m). The range runs roughly north-south. It&#8217;s bisected by the Hudson River which flows south through part of it. Ouachita Mountains<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ouachita Mountains are a mountain range in northwestern <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/gisgeography.com\/arkansas-map\/\">Arkansas<\/a> and southeastern <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/gisgeography.com\/oklahoma-map\/\">Oklahoma<\/a>. The Ouachita Mountains take travelers through the heart of Arkansas and Oklahoma.
