It&#8217;s all about exploring locations and their relationships. Spatial analysis helps us uncover the <strong>&#8220;why&#8221;<\/strong> and <strong>\u201cwhere\u201d<\/strong> behind the data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, it can reveal the <a href=\"https:\/\/gisgeography.com\/spatial-analysis\/\">spatial pattern<\/a> of a disease&#8217;s spread in a city. This is crucial for planning health services. It helps us understand why things happen where they do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spatial analysis encompasses a wide range of <a href=\"https:\/\/gisgeography.com\/geoprocessing-tools\/\">geoprocessing techniques<\/a>.
